Acai Power
Acai Power sells their product by using a “free trial offer.” They make it sound so promising, like you will find nothing better and it will finally change everything about your life. They say that Acai Power will finally help you to burn more fat, cleanse the body, and lose weight with a “free trial offer.” Apparently, they think that makes them confident when really it just makes them a scam that has to hype people into buying a product that they already know doesn’t work. So what does Acai Power actually do?
What are the ingredients?
Acai Power obviously has acai, which can give you certain vitamin and antioxidant related health benefits. With Acai Power, you can get certain ingredients such as cascara sagrada, which is a common laxative, promoting temporary weight loss at best and actually causing weight rebound and other side effects. It makes it that much harder to lose weight in the future. With Acai Power, you do not get a single cleansing ingredient, and you really don’t get any weight loss ingredients.
Psyllium seed-a natural fiber that has been known to improve and maintain regularity. It has also shown promise in lowering bad cholesterol levels and improving GI function.
Fennel seed-helps to promote a healthier GI tract and regularity as a natural fiber
Buckthorn-also known as rhamnus, buckthorn has been known to relax the intestinal muscles and therefore reduce abdominal pain. It has been used to treat chronic constipation. But it has never really been used to promote weight loss
Goldenseal-used as an alternative, anti-catarrhal, anti inflammatory, antiseptic, astringent, bitter tonic, laxative, and muscular stimulant
Cascara sagrada-commonly used to address constipation, this is a mild and effective treatment thereof. It has been used for bowel cleansing to some degree.
Rhubarb root-commonly used for its fleshy petioles, it has been used as a common laxative and has astringent effects on the body.
Licorice-it has been known to soothe an upset stomach and alleviate diarrhea. But it does not actually promote weight loss.
Ginger-this has been used to calm an upset stomach and fight certain mild digestive issues. However, it does not promote weight loss.
Acai-though featured on various news stations and otherwise, it is not actually the most powerful superfruit at all or even among them. It is lower in antioxidants than something as basic as a blueberry. But it’s from Brazil. It definitely does not promote cleansing or weight loss benefits.
Possible Side Effects
Acai Power side effects include headaches, jitteriness, nervousness, irritability, insomnia, and an elevated heartbeat.
