I knew about them trying to restrict fast food restaurants, make it illegal to open one in certain neighborhoods, mostly lower income neighborhoods from what I’ve heard, and while I’m not big into fast food, at the same time I realize that people should have their choices. You can’t really stop people from doing stupid things to themselves. It’s that simple. This being said, last time I tried to eat a Big Mac, I spent half my time of eating it actually picking off those tiny onions they chop up and insinuate into every freaking burger! And then I spent about 15 minutes afterward throwing up, and yes the barfing was completely involuntary. That taught me to eat McDonalds….
Anyway, this being said, I am apparently one of few that react this way to that much fat. Most are used to it. But they are now trying to end childhood obesity by taking fast food restaurants away from schools. They are not allowed to set up shop within a certain distance of schools. Hello, most high school kids these days have cars and go out for their lunch breaks and in junior high and high school my sister brought me Wendy’s at school half the time! Oh, and there’s the fact that school lunches are just as bad, sometimes even actually giving you fast food. We had a chick-filet option in our school lunch lines. So in so many ways, I just don’t see the point.
